Beach Restaurant Bar+Lounge is a concept capturing the essence of Costa Rica and its eco friendly spirit, KOKi Beach embraces it's environment and community in which it lives. Working with principally local materials, artisans and incorporating mostly reused, reclaimed and repurposed elements this unique space was created. This was accomplished by capturing such things as the wood from an abandoned house in Hone Creek, which now serve as tables and seating for the restaurant as well as the decorative entry feature, the bar bodega and decorative elements. Local river stones were used for the building support as well as the unique bar back wall, while the lamps are a combination of carvings by the local indigenous community in Bribri and a local artisan who specializes in beadwork. KOKi Beach is a showcase of local craftmanship and shows how using the knowledge and traditions of the community one can truly create a modern and environmentally friendly space.
We only use freshest local produced ingredients some from our own farm. We hope you will enjoy the KOKi Beach experience.

Your menu for New Years sound delicios, just make sure that the baby lobsters are at least 3 inches (messured in the top of the "head" from in between their eyes to the begginig of the "tail". It is illegal to sell smaller lobters. This is the main cause why the lobsters are becoming scarse in the Caribean. When catchig smaller lobsters, the don't give them a chance of reproduce at least one time!!!

Por un dia o por un tiempo prolongado, un viaje al caribe sur de Costa Rica; es sinomino de relajacion,tranquilidad,intercambio-cultural pero sobretodo: contacto con la naturaleza.
ReplyDeleteLa experiencia por si sola es magica, y encierra sorpresas y situaciones inesperadas que despiertan tu conciencia ayudandote a alcanzar otros niveles. A mi parecer... toda esta simbiosos, da pauta a este lugar, este restaurante donde se mezclan los sabores mas simples y exquisitos de manera magistral con un espacio unico, de atmosfera incomparable.
Solo queda agradecer por el placer de cenar aqui.
